Famos is ready to manufacture of lightweight non-combustible furniture. The basic core material is aluminum ”honeycomb”, covered with HPL laminate. This is an MED certified material , with confirmed non-flammability, and approved for marine usage.

The most important advantages of this furniture are:

• very light weight,
• stiffness (deformation proof),
• fire resistance, and low smoke emissions during fire.

As a result of these facts, the furniture made of aluminum ”honeycomb”, are common on yachts, patrol vessels and passenger ships. This material can be also used for production of wall panels covered with HPL laminate.
