STRIP CEILING

STRIP CEILING B0 and B15

Ceiling of strip type are designed for application in such compartsments where an easy acces to space between and steel deck or roof is required. Fire protection of different class is obtained by insulation of mineral wool in ceiling strips and masking strips and by means of additional layer insulation. The elements of ceiling of strip type afford possibilities for building of various and attractive architectural arrangements and also connection with modular ceilings panels produced by FAMOS is possible.

Construction

Ceiling of strip type consists of lining elements, mounting girders and fastenings as linings elements are used ceiling strips in various modular width, masking strips and border strips. Mineral wool of appropriate thickness and density inserted into ceiling strips made the thermal and acoustic insulation and ensured fire protection. Mounting girders from the supporting structure of ceiling. They are prepared for snappressing assembly of ceiling strips in different modular width. Supporting structure is hung up to the deck by means suspension ceiling elements which enable to make an easy connection with girders and fluent levelling of ceiling. Higher class of fire protection is obtained by giving the ceiling and masking strips and also the girders a coating of additional mineral wool insulation.

PANEL CEILING

PANEL CEILING B0 and B15

A panel ceiling is designed to be used on vessels and in industrial land projects. Various classes of fire protection are met thanks to insulation from non-combustible mineral wool. An even / smooth / surface and an easy assembly are main advantages of this type of construction.

Construction

The ceiling consists of lining elements, girders and suspending elements. As lining elements there are used ceiling strips, 300 mm wide, with thermal insulation from non-combustible mineral wool density 110 kg/m3 . Lengtwise edges are shaped in such a way that they form their own "feathers" thanks to which panels are connected smoothly. A connector put into an edge of a strips makes this construction rigid / it's also a mounting element of a supporting structure /. Mounting girders together with ceiling profiles form a supporting structure. The supporting structure is hung up to the deck / or ceiling / with suspension metal elements which eneble to make an easy connection with girders and flexible levelling of ceiling higher class of fire protection is obtained by putting an additional layer of mineral wool as panels and girders.

TILE CEILING

TILE CEILING B0

The tile ceiling has been designed for application in such compartsments where an easy acces to space between and steel deck or roof is required. Fire protection of different class is obtained by insulation of mineral wool in tiles of different density as well as by additional insulation of girder. The connection of tile ceiling with strip ona is posible thanks to the elements of ceiling.

Construction

The tile ceiling consists of lining elements, supporting gird and fastenings. As lining elements are used ceiling tiles in plenteous dimension range, ceiling strips and profiles at wall. Mineral wool of appropriate density and thickness insurted into tiles and ceiling strip makes the thermal insulation. Mounting girders form the supporting gird. Their shape makes snap-pressing assembly of tiles in girders possible. Girders forming ceiling gird are joined to each other by means of angle connectors and corner hangers. The gird is hung up to the steel deck by means of holders and blocking springs making fluent levelling of ceiling surface possible. Higher class of fire protection is obtained by laying an additional mineral wool insulation on girders and ceiling tiles.

SELF-SUPPORTING CEILING

SELF-SUPPORTING CEILING B15

A panel ceiling is designed to be used on vessels and in industrial land projects. Various classes of fire protection are met thanks to insulation from non-combustible mineral wool. A smooth surface, easy assembly are advantages of this type of construction, but the main advenfage is it's self-supporting construction.

Construction

The ceiling consists of lining elements, profiles, girders and suspending elements when the strips are longer than 3000 mm. Basic element are: strips 3000 mm wide with thermal insulation from non-combustible mineral wool 130 kg/m3 density. Lengthwise edges are shaped in the way that it form their owy "feather" thanks to whid panels are connected smoothly. The ceiling consists also the strip B15 class with cavity for mounting a lightning strip KK18-00/B-13-403.

FIRE RESISTANCE

Basic materials are classified as non-combustible. Finishing materials-decorative coatings-meet the requirements of international standard in scope of low flame-spread characteristics. All materials are non-toxic. Here presented wall structures passed international fire test according to SOLAS-1974 Convection with a mendments and comply with is relevant requirements. Fire test for B class were carried out at "DANTEST" laboratory in Copenhagen, "BRANDVERSUCHSHAUS" laboratory in Hamburg and domestic laboratories. Wall structure is approved as B0, B15/A30 and B15/A60 by different Clasification Societes and National Authorities. Certificaties of approvals, materials and approved drawings of mounting joints are submitted on request.
