The ceiling of strip type is designed for application in such compartments where an easy access to space between and steel deck or roof is required. The fire protection of different class is obtained by insulation of mineral wool in ceiling strips and masking strips by means of additional layer insulation. The elements of ceiling of strip type give the possibility to build various and attractive architectural arrangements and also to connect with modular ceilings panels produced by FAMOS.
The ceiling of strip type consists of lining elements, mounting girders and fastenings as linings elements which are used in various modular width, masking strips and border strips. The mineral wool of appropriate thickness and density inserted into ceiling strips makes the thermal and acoustic insulation and ensures fire protection. The mounting girders from the supporting structure of ceiling are prepared for snap pressing assembly of ceiling strips in different modular width. The supporting structure is hung up to the deck by means of suspension ceiling elements which enable an easy connection with girders and fluent levelling of ceiling. The higher class of fire protection is obtained by giving the ceiling and masking strips and also the girders a coating of additional mineral wool insulation.
The panel ceiling is designed to be used on vessels and in other industrial land-based projects. The various classes of fire protection are achieved thanks to the insulation from non-combustible mineral wool. The even and smooth surface and an easy assembly are the main advantages of this type of construction.
The ceiling consists of lining elements, girders and suspending elements. In the lining elements there are used ceiling strips, 300 mm wide, with thermal insulation from non-combustible mineral wool density 110 kg/m3 . Lengthwise edges are shaped in a way to form their "slip feather" thanks to which panels are smoothly connected. A connector, put into an edge of the strips, makes this construction rigid. It's also a mounting element of a supporting structure. The mounting girders together with ceiling profiles form a supporting structure. The supporting structure is hung up to the deck or ceiling with suspension metal elements which enable an easy connection with girders and flexible levelling of ceiling. The higher class of fire protection is obtained by putting an additional layer of mineral wool and installed girders.
The tile ceiling has been designed for application in such compartments where an easy access to space between and steel deck or roof is required. The fire protection of different classes is obtained by insulation of mineral wool in tiles of different density, as well as, by additional insulation of girder. The connection of tile ceiling with strip is possible thanks to the elements of ceiling.
The tile ceiling consists of lining elements, supporting gird and fastenings. In the lining elements there are used ceiling tiles in plenteous dimension range, ceiling strips and profiles at walls. The mineral wool of appropriate density and thickness insurted into tiles and ceiling strip makes the thermal insulation. The mounting girders form the supporting gird. Their shape makes snap pressing assembly of tiles in girders possible. The girders forming ceiling gird are joined to each other by means of angle connectors and corner hangers. The gird is hung up to the steel deck by means of holders and blocking springs making fluent levelling of ceiling surface possible. The higher class of fire protection is obtained by an additional mineral wool insulation on girders and ceiling tiles.
The panel ceiling is designed to be used on vessels and in industrial land-based projects. The various classes of fire protection are achieved thanks to the insulation from the non-combustible mineral wool. A smooth surface and an easy assembly are the advantages of this type of construction, but the main advantage is its self-supporting construction.
The ceiling consists of lining elements, profiles, girders and suspending elements where the strips are longer than 3000 mm.The basic elements are: strips 3000 mm wide with thermal insulation from non-combustible mineral wool 130 kg/m3 density. Lengthwise edges are shaped in the way to form their own "feather" thanks to which panels are smoothly connected. The ceiling also consists of a strip B15 class with cavity for mounting a lightning.
The basic materials are classified as non-combustible. The finishing materials-decorative coatings-meet the requirements of international standard in the scope of low flame-spread characteristics. All materials are non-toxic. The presented wall structures passed international fire test according to SOLAS-1974 Convection with amendments and comply with the relevant requirements. The fire tests for B class were carried out at "DANTEST" laboratory in Copenhagen, "BRANDVERSUCHSHAUS" laboratory in Hamburg and in domestic laboratories. Wall structure is approved as B0, B15/A30 and B15/A60 by different Classification Societies and National Authorities. The certificates of approvals, materials and approved drawings of mounting joints are submitted on request.
